Comments Not Working

  • Hi, I have created my own Theme based on an existing theme’s source code. The theme works fine locally on my own web server, but when I upload it to my client’s live server, any comments do not display.
    The top half of the first comment in .commentlist shows, but then the page code stops being displayed (no comments or footer – it just comes to a halt).

    Any help telling me why the comments do not show would be appreciated, or why the page code just suddenly stops showing?

    Just to follow up my cry for help with an update – turns out that my theme did not like the ‘twittar’ plugin – I’ve now swapped the avatar support to show gravatars, and it is now working fine.

    Not sure why it worked fine on my local server and not my live sever (both run 2.7.1) but its working ok now as it is.
