Comments – oldest/newest first

    Hi,

    i was wondering if there is a plugin or some code that will allow a user to select if they would like to view older comments or the latest comments.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    That should be implemented in WordPress 3.1
    Check the admin panel and click Settings -> discussion. There’s a lot of settings for comments there.

    I have these settings:
    Break comments into pages with 20 top level comments per page and the last page displayed by default
    Comments should be displayed with the newer comments at the top of each page.

    The strange thing is though, that the page that has the comments, shows a link to “newer comments” on the first page, while those ARE the newest comments, and the other pages are OLDER comments. So the links are the wrong way around. Kinda annoying.
    I wonder if that’s a flaw in my theme or in WP3.1
