Hi! I’m in the midst of transferring my webcomic site from a free webcomic community to my own website, and ComicPress has been fantastic to use. At the moment, I’m using a friend’s website as a personal sandbox to test things out.

However, I can’t get the comments to show on the front page at all. And by that, I mean I want to see WordPress/Disqus comments without clicking through a link. I have clicked “Enable Comments on Home Page” AND “Disable Blog Loop” under ComicPress Options, and I still have to click through “Comments” to see the comments.

You can see the current state of my website here: https://tamarasshit.cbwebb.com/
    (Forgive the Arrested Development banner)

    Thank you in advance!

Haha I feel silly, the solution is from the COMICEASEL part, not ComicPress.

Here’s what I did: Go to Comics > Config > General > Enable Comments to Appear on the Home Page. You still need the blog loop to be disabled, but now I know what to do. I’m writing this down so anybody else who had this problem knows what to do. Thanks Frumph via Twitter!

I’m having this same issue. I’m not sure how to fix it. I have “Enable Comments to Appear on the Home Page” checked, but I keep getting the default comment system showing up on the homepage, and not my Discus plugin. I’m not sure what “needing the blog loop to be disabled” means, but maybe that’s my problem?
    HELP!
