• I have trouble with changes I make in comicpress and comiceasel actually consistently changing things in reality. I had never enabled comments on my home page and I’m pretty sure comments weren’t there. Then I found someone had commented on a post on the home page. Looking into both plugin and theme, comments were not enabled on the home page and still aren’t, yet there are now comments on the home page. I have a static home page. The comments on the home page are associated with the page my home page is set to show and not with the comic post, which has separate comments and on which people should be allowed to comment. I have gone to permalinks and saved changes as I saw that on various forums, but haven’t found that it actually does anything.

You really have a huge run of a question there that I am unable to follow completely.

If you have a page set as the home page just disable the comments on that page?
