Comments on Page in wrong place

  • If I add Allow Comments on a Page, it appears at the very bottom of the entire page, above the theme footer below the side menu, at 100% screen width.

    By contrast, Comments on Posts appear nested nicely at the bottom of text, and are the width of the post.

    As a result it looks really awkward when I enable comments on Pages. Is this fixable?
