    Hi there,

Just when I thought I’d sorted it all out… ??

I’ve recently completed a ‘widening’ of the basic ‘headspace’ theme to suit my taste, and have all pages/archives/index layouts displaying perfectly. The only snag is when someone wants to leave a comment or clicks on the title of an individual post – it takes them to a page style which does not conform. I’ve poured over the CSS sheet and the individual .PHP pages in the theme but I cannot find where the issue is.

Could you please browse to https://www.avalon5.com/blog and try to leave a comment? You will see the problem straight away. How do I fix this?

As ever – thanks so much for all the assistance.

I took a look and you’ll want to change your styles in your style.css file where they are listed as #comment and commentlist and respond. If you used the Default style with WordPress to recreate your own design, you will find the specific HTML references in comments.php in your theme folder.

Also, I noticed that you don’t have any margin or padding on the right side of your main post text so it runs right against the right light in Firefox. If that is the look you want, fine, but it looks a little crowded. You can get the same look (crowded) but not uncomfortable if you add even a 1px right margin or padding to your paragraph tags through the style sheet.
