    Hello, I’m totally a novice but i’m using the Heuman theme that I absolutely enjoy but I’m having issues trying to get the comments box to show up on my pages. I have selected the comments “On” box but nothing is showing up. I admit that i HAVE researched online to get things looking the way they should in this area and nothing is helping…I’m guessing it’s human error on my part. I’m using the Welcome screen as a static page. What I’m really trying to achieve is getting a “blog” started on a page but not sure how to do it… I’m also trying to make my site private to those I collected emails from. Is there a way or compatible plugin that will help sift out the “prying eyes” I don’t want to see the comments, blog or post.

    The Theme Options > Blog > Page Comments > ON setting sets it for all pages and it should show up, unless the specific page you have has a WordPress setting somewhere that disables it.

    On my WordPress setup, the comments form instantly appears when I enable it in theme options for pages.

    Also make sure you don’t have any plugin which is somehow messing it up – try disabling all and see if it does. If it does, re-activate them one by one to find the troublemaker.

    Thanks Bud!!! It worked!! :). But I noticed my visual editor function when I edit pages is not functioning nor is it available. I went back and deactivated all plugins one by one for that as well and no luck.. Any ideas? It happened when I downloaded wordpress 3.9. Thank you!!

    I’ve spent the past 4 hours checking and rechecking the cause of my visual editor to malfunction and I’ve found it.. For me it was the “omnisearch” of all things in the Jet Pack kit. Thanks again for creating an awesome theme and also for your hardwork and dedication in keeping us well informed and functioning. Many Thanks!! ??
