Hi–great plugin, considering all it does. I’ve been running tests back and forth between it and the Add Link to Facebook plugin, and one of the main cons showing up with wordbooker is that the comments being imported from facebook are showing up on my site as me–the admin (though it doesn’t also use my gravitar…so, weird…). Add link to Facebook, on the other hand, shows the correct username.

I’ve been overhauling my comments management in the interest of relaunching my site with a long awaited post, and after lots of delays, I’m leaning towards ‘add link’ for now…though i like some of the other features you have in wordbooker.

Any chance this incorrect labeling of commenters is an easy fix?
    I am using Wordbooker: 2.2.0

    Thanks!

Right on. I figured it was going to boil down to something like that…

    So…one more idea…

…after seeing what happened when I had my website in the comment tag…I wondered if, when someone comments in wordrpess, if sharing a link would show when it’s pushed to facebook…and it does…

…in this case, I used the actual facebook link.

So…might there be a way of including some new %misc.% tag to the ‘Facebook Comment Structure’ that would pull a commenter’s ‘website’ or something in which case, (if the comment originated from facebook, for example)it would pull their data, and use that as a marker in the post?

Its something to consider – originally no html could go into comments made through the API

If that were an option, that’d be awesome…

As one more piece of input on this idea, facebook lets you edit the comments others place…and I was able to enter the facebook url next to the ‘author’…so it’ll show the url…then show as a ‘link’ at the end of the comment.

Obviously this labor is not ideal, but it exemplifies the sort of end result that could be ideal if the such a %website% tag could be implemented.
