I actually need help in 2 areas for my blog I designed.

1) I need help making my comments section background to stay white while I have an image covering the whole page in the background.
2)I also have a “Fatal Error” msg – “Fatal error: Call to undefined function ld_clean() in /home/content/75/8411375/html/blog/wp-content/themes/grassy/archive.php on line 56” that appears on my Archives page.
Please can anyone help me. I might be missing something but need a quick fix. I don’t know where to start. I’ve looked/searched everywhere. I checked my CSS, hacks, pages, etc and can’t seem to find the solution.
