comments section of blog

  • If you go on my blog x-nygal.com and click on the comments section you will see a name and email address already in there. I had typed it in there to test out how the comments worked on my blog as I am new to all of this. I have tried everything I can think of to delete the name and address. It seems to show up on all the comment sections of all my posts. How do I get it out of there? Help.

  • It’s set in a cookie only on your machine. If you clear your cookies it will be gone. Don’t worry nobody else can see it to post a comment posing as you.

    Thanks, but clearing my cookies didn’t work. If someone types in my blog address and then decides to leave a comment they will find a name and email address already in there. I am desperate to get it out of there because it’s my husbands’.

    To clear my cookies I went into ‘tools’ on the toolbar.

    Never mind. . .

    I just checked the blog again and the name and email address disappeared. Clearing the cookies did work.
