Comments show up in moderation que for bad reason! How to fix?

    Comments show up in moderation que for me to accept or decline the comment, when it is from a already accepted user.

    Now that I’ve turned off the need to accept comments (first time).

    It still sends comments that contain a link to the moderation que.
    It’s quite annoying.

    Anyway to solve this?

  • I’d suggest activating the Akismet plugin.

    But it is activated.

    So what is stopping ordinary users that have posted 10s of comments but each time it contains a link, I have to accept it before it’s shown ??

    It really gives trouble for my users to have to wait hours for a comment to be shown if I’m not around, just because they link to something on my own site or beyond that. ??

    This is also turned OFF.

    Still they show up in the moderation que cus of a link.

    Check your configuration in Settings -> Discussion. Specifically “Hold a comment in the queue if it contains “.
