• I hope your recovery from the accident is going well. You are a gifted plugin creator. This plugin sped up my site so much I still find it hard to believe.

Around the same time I installed this plugin, I started getting email from people who could not post comments. I have no idea if your plugin has anything to do with it or not, but because my site is so much faster with it installed I won’t delete it. People get messages such as slow down you’re commenting too fast. I’ve tried comment flood filters, cpanel database repair and other fixes from past general support suggestions to others but noting has worked. There are also large numbers of pending and spam comments but when i click to see them, nothing shows up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi @zeuspress,
I have checked your website. I do not think the issues are happening due to this plugin as this plugin has no such ability to do so. Moreover, I think this is your server issue. I would suggest you to get a good managed hosting, something like BigScoots Managed WP Hosting, they are really good.

Anyways, when testing the page link you have provided and I clicked on Load Comments, I see that though it take some time, but it loads the comments properly and the request is not being cached as it should be. Also the cache-control values are properly being set by this plugin. Which means the plugin is working properly.

But after that when I try to post a test comment, I see Error:?The comment could not be saved. Please try again later. and when I digged deeper, I saw that the issue is coming from wp-comments-post.php file, which is throwing a status code of 500 which means server level issue. Maybe your server is unable to process any more comment due to storage or database limitation or something like that. Error 500 is generally a Fatal Error.

As it is throwing error 500, you should definately check yourself or ask your host to check the server log to see what is causing the file to throw error 500.
