Comments sync stopped working after update to version 11+

Hello Joel,

First of all, thanks for this great plugin! I’ve been using it for years.

Unfortunately, after upgrading to version 11.0.1 comments sync doesn’t work on my blog… So I rollback to version 10.2.4. I tested it with the REST API enabled, but after an hour of waiting the new comments were still not synchronized ??

I also found a few more problems:

1. Entering the blog post with the parameter “#disqus_thread” didn’t automatically load comments (I use “On click” option to load Disqus). In version 10.2.4 it works perfectly, example here: https://gracz.org/najlepsze-blogi-o-grach/#disqus_thread

2. Do we have to throw this CSS code directly into the site’s header?

There are probably better ways to do it.
