comments used to show in dashboard, but now they don't

Hi!

I’m having problems with comments showing on my wordpress dashboard. I used to install the plugin on a completely set up page, but then i had to migrate from one server to another. i backed up and restored SQL database via myphpadmin on the server’s CP, and downloaded and restored wordpress itself via FTP.

when i used the plugin on the previous server, it would show me new comments on the dashboard, and all comments (including the facebook comments that came about with using this plugin) under comments section of the wordpress CP. now i can’t find them anywhere, nor can i see any new comments under dashboard.

i don’t mind if the old comments, before migrating to new servers, are gone… it’s okay. i would just like to see and be notified of new comments that appear on the site. is there a way to do this?
