Comments with No Contents by Anonymous

    Hi,
    I notice that I continue to get comments which have no content, and which are from ‘Anonymous’. I would have thought that these would be easy to identify as spam. Is there a reason why such comments couldn’t be trapped by the Askimet plugin?

  • Hi Rob, Matt, Ryan, Andy and team, I have been monitoring the same issue for several weeks. I have traced the IPs to sites in several countries including Poland, USA, Israel, UK, China and Russia. Here are the most recent.

    WordPress would be impossible without Akismet – Akismet has protected MY site from 3,807,784 spam comments already. (on 14,959 Posts posts)
