Comments Won't Display

  • I have installed wordpress today and everything seems to be running smoothly!
    I only have one problem is that the comments won’t display! The comments form is there but it says “no comments” as you can see in the link below while there’s actually lots of approved comments

    I tried to do everything I can, I edited comments.php and tried many versions, I tried deleting comments.php and using the default comments page wp-comments but I’m still experiencing the same problem!

    I have just tried including <?php comments_template(); ?> in footer.php and include it in the index.php template but no luck :/

    okay I’m sure its a theme problem because when I tried the other theme “twentyten” the comments showed up! help?! anyone?!

    my eyes are gonna pop out I can’t find a solution

    Try a new theme. I ran a quick html validation test using the w3c validation tool on that page and got 157 Errors and 16 warning(s). The page doesn’t even have a doctype. Try fixing all those errors and see if that solves your problem.
