Hello @motionblocks, I am having hart time with Blockpress being used on WordPress.com (pro account).

_Template parts and templates suddenly stops syncing while editing them.
_Particularly post navigation block and/or reading bar database settings creates some error.

As I am really liking this theme, I want to use it but I need some advice, can I have some communication e-mail, I checked the website but did not see any.

Otherwise I will need to go another FSE theme and my heart will be broken.

    Cheers.

Hi, syncing and database is not theme territory. Are you sure that you checked this issue with default Twenty twenty two theme?

hello @motionblocks thank you for the answer.

Well, they do not accept any cache issue and suggest me to use 2022 theme, which is weird to me as we should be able to use any FSE theme that carries good standards of .org repository.

I could not try 2022 theme yet as I already worked on Blockpress editing so far and most likely I had put Blockpress before on live site with child theme I created and maybe some css cache issue going on there. I cleaned the website cache, all is fine on local. I still got Blockpress running, just it is an issue when I update templates/parts.

As a side note, I got also Polylang Pro to create multilingual template parts but I do not think it is related as it just creates another template parts.

I could invite you to the project as dev but I am not sure whether you got time on it. So I will try to solve the issue or change the theme.

    Best.

Blockpress doesn’t use any own technology for storing something. This is 100% pure core standard theme with templates made as FSE html. So, if your site work with default 2022 theme, it must work also with BlockPress. Also, make sure that you understand that all templates in FSE site are separate. it means that changes on Frontpage will not be visible on Archive template. The same for navigation. When you save navigation on frontpage, make sure that you save it as the same navigation which you selected for Archive template, otherwise, templates will use different navigations

Thank you @motionblocks I think I got the issue behind this: It is Polylang. It only translates template parts and somehow new templates are not being recognized whereas the edited core-template parts are.

yes, FSE core of wordpress has no possibility for multilanguage as I know. But this is in roadmap. It’s not related to theme, so, I am closing this
