Communication Error but no indication on what website

    Hi,

    Thanks for making and maintaining Updraft Central.

    Adding around 2 dozen websites.

    Clicked Updates > Show Updates for all Sites.

    This error came up after while “Communication Error” Screenshot is here https://i.imgur.com/cvFeBUE.png

    That error does not show what website has the problem.

    Also, there should be some indication if a website has nothing to update and if it has some updates available. Wp Remote does it with color green and red.

    The user experience for this plugin has room for lots of improvements.

    Wp Remote has more intuitive interface and human machine interaction. May be that can serve as inspiration?

    I’ll add this to our development list. It’s arisen with the latest release, which is the first to add “operate on many sites at once” capabilities.

    The user experience for this plugin has room for lots of improvements.

    Certainly. We see the project as still in its infancy. We have a big long document with UI issues to pursue, and another team member is working on a new design for the whole. The 0.x version numbering is intended to reflect its current state relative to where we hope to take it. We hope you’ll stay for the ride!

    Hi,

    We’ve just released UpdraftCentral 0.6.1, which is the result of lots of work in investigating corner-cases and trying to provoke issues in the updates system, and has lots of tweaks/fixes in it. Please can you give it a try and let us know how you get on? It now includes the fix for indicating what site a communications error was from.
