Community User Role not Appearing on WP User Screen

    Hello,

    I created a new User Role within the Ultimate Member plugin. When I go to the WordPress User module to add a user, the new Community Role does not appear in the drop down. It also does not appear when I view All Users and click the UM Action drop down.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi @mcstahljr,

    Do you have any other membership or roles plugins installed?
    This issue can be caused by a theme or plugin conflicts.
    Please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts.

    Looks like I was able to resolve the problem. It appeared to be a result of the Community Role slug “Member” being the same as a Page slug “Member”. I changed the role slug to not conflict with a page or post and everything works well now. Not sure why the slugs are connected in this way but at least it’s resolved for now!
