As a reminder, this plugin was originally written in 2009 long before the responsive web was the norm. As a result, the default columns should be considered legacy code if used by itself. If you don’t want to roll your own CSS, I recommend looking in to the responsive option as it will use JavaScript to build your CSS for you.
