Compact Album Thumbs

  • I’ve scoured the Internet for a fix, but no success.

    The thumbnails for the basic compact album seem to be dynamically fixed at 91 x 68, regardless of the settings. Here is the path to one of them:

    /wp-content/gallery/decks/dynamic/0_9_DSC_0034.jpg-nggid0219-ngg0dyn-91×68-00f0w010c011r110f110r010t010.jpg

    Changing my css doesn’t resolve it. The size of the div that holds the image area is correct, but the image itself is not, so it’s blurred.

    G’day PW,

    I can’t really tell what’s going on because you haven’t posted a link to your website. Makes it pretty hard to diagnose the problem.

    However, it could be that you’ve changed the thumbnail size and created new thumbnails, but your web browser still has the old thumbnails cached and thus is showing small images at a larger size. Maybe ??

    Clear your browser cache and look again. If it’s still messed up, please post a link. Or try the NextGEN Gallery support forum, because the issue is really a NextGEN Gallery issue, not a NextGEN Download Gallery issue.

    The thumbnail sizes are correct EXCEPT the album cover image. That particular image keeps defaulting to 98×61. There is no setting for it, that I see. That’s why I included an html line to a one of the album cover images that shows it’s dynamically sized to 91×68.

    Have you tried overriding the thumbnail dimensions for the compact album?

    Gallery > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Compact Album > Override thumbnail settings
