Compact date format with dots, without leading zeroes

    The compact date formats selection doesn’t have a selection for a compact date format that is delimited by dots, without leading zeroes, only with leading zeroes:

    15.01.2022 is available, but not 15.1.2022 or 15.1.22, which is even more compact.

    I looked into the code to see if they could be added somehow. I found a note in the code saying:

    The datepicker has issues when a period separator and no leading zero are used. Those formats are purposefully omitted.

    This is why those formats are not available.
