• I installed this plugin to install SSL on my site as it says full refund if SSL cannot be installed via automation. I try, it fails giving tons of errors so I have to contact their support. They come back saying it’s something wrong on my server and tell me to try again once I fix the issue. If I knew how to fix the issue I wouldn’t have bought the plugin. It doesn’t work, so we went with someone else who implemented SSL right away. I contact the company asking for a refund since it says full refund if the plugin doesn’t work, and they (shockingly /s) refuse saying the issue is my server not their plugin and therefore no refund. What kind of sketchy company tells a customer “our plugin didn’t work on your server, and no refund.” You think that’s going to keep me as a customer? Just submitted a chargeback with my credit card company. What a joke, I hope you go out of business soon, what an embarrassment.

@liammonroe You know that our plugin did not cause the issue. Your server was not serving simple Let’s Encrypt challenge files. WordPress’s .htaccess rules (that tell the server to serve files) were not working on your server.

Moreover, we were not given sufficient time. When we were still trying to fix your issue (and informed you that), you suddenly opted for another solution.

As we have in our refund policy (https://freessl.tech/refund-policy), we issue a refund if our plugin causes any issues and we cannot resolve that issue after giving enough time. On the payment page, we display links to our Refund Policy, EULA, & Terms of Service. You agreed with it, and then you bought the plugin.?

However, we issued you a full refund?40 minutes ago. Please consider?updating your rating and review.

I have no dog in this fight and am just another user of the plugin.

It took me less than three minutes to have working SSL using the free version of the plugin. I downloaded the plugin, downloaded and installed the challenge files (after creating the directory appropriately) and copy/pasted the certificate content into the SSL portal of my host. For anyone who has dealt with cPanel for more than a few days, this is pretty basic stuff.

This assault on the integrity of the plugin author is absolutely inaccurate and in my opinion this refund was unwarranted.

As users of software such as this, we have an equal responsibility to understand what we’re buying. In parallel, if our hosting scenario is incompatible that is an “us” problem, not a plugin author concern.

What’s “a total scam” @liammonroe is your demand for a refund while libeling this plugin author. You are making things harder on the rest of us who understand not every purchase will suit our needs in our situation.

I hope you never find CodeCanyon, because you’d end up writing bad reviews of good people daily.

    Good day, sir.
