    Hi,

We are using Klarna Checkout as the main payment gateway. Since this loads it’s own iframe, it does not seem to work in tandem with the plugin. Could you investigate this and give an estimate if those two plugins might work together in the future?

    Thank You,

    Jakob Repp

    Jakob,

What exactly is not working with the Klarna checkout? Does the whole checkout load in an iframe or something else?

    Shadi.

    Hi Shadi,

Thanks for the lightning quick reply! If you go to our staging site https://vanilla.sleep.ink/ you can proceed to the checkout and see it in action. If you select Klarna, the option to pick a Packstation is not working any more. The error is: “the requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.”

The lightbox displaying the error then blocks all further interaction with the checkout.

    Jakob,

Is the Google Maps API key setup correctly? It also seems that the shipping address fields do not exist, so this could be related. Does Klarna do this or is it a custom theme?

    Best,
    Shadi.

    Hi Shadi,

The Google Maps API works fine. When Klarna is disabled the plugin works as desired. You can see the Klarna Checkout in action on our live site: https://sleep.ink

As it replaces the standard input fields I can imagine the conflict being related to this.

    Jakob,

We would have to research this and decide whether to build an integration for Klarna. For now there is not much we can do.

    Shadi.

    Hi Shadi,

Thanks for the feedback! I get that the path of implementation Klarna takes is a bit unusual. Maybe the better option to deal with those kinds of checkout situations would be to have the plugin running in “just backend” mode.

It seems our combination will make it hard to use this integration at this point. I’d love to in the future. If you implement the “mark complete on origin scan” and backend only mode (or a workaround for klarna) we’d love to switch!

    Same issue.

The plugin can be used in the backend only if you wish, simply disable the location finder.

    Hi Shadi,

That sounds like a good way to get around the problem for now. Of course it would be nice to have the location finder.

    Thanks,

    Jakob
