compatabilty with Custom Permalinks plugins

I’ve tried sublanguage with the following plugins and there are conflicts:

– Custom Permalinks
modifying a page permalink with this plugin causes 404 on translated/original language pages (with it’s custom field translation enabled/disabled)

– Permalink Manager Lite
modifying a page permalink with this plugin causes hreflang/language switcher/etc to lead to the untranslated page

– without any of the plugins:
if the parent of a page isn’t published (it’s pending or on custom status) translated page shows 404 (the original language does work fine).
Easiest way to reproduce this is:
1. publish parent and child pages
2. change parent status from published to pending
3. flush rewrite rules
