  • Hi,
I need more details like if the page is built with bricks templates or not so I can try to replicate in my system and do some tests.
With premium customers in this cases I ask for an admin access to investigate on my own.

    Hi Daniele,

sorry, but the notification about your first reply somehow did not find its way to my inbox.

The page I am talking about is just a plain page built with Bricks builder. No templates involved. Pages built with the Block Editor do show tooltips and links, pages built with Bricks do not.

    Best,
    Martin

I need more details like a link to investigate and try to replicate.
Maybe can you export the page content with blocks etc?
So I can investigate because maybe it is just how the page is built and replicate can be difficult without any hints.

I don’t think that the problem is specific to my website. Have a look at this video that I made from a fresh WP install:

I replicated your page in my bricks install and works.
Did you enabled the post type page in the plugin settings?

    Yes, I did.

I can give you access to this test installation if you let me know for which email address.

I am sorry but that kind of support we provide it only to premium customers.

Fair enough. I just thought I might help you tracking down a problem in your plugin, since it’s obvious that there IS a problem.

I tried in our environment and I am not able to replicate the issue.
There could be a lot of reasons why is not working and the other Bricks users we have didn’t reported this problem.

I investigated and we can implement also a more advanced system just for Bricks but I think that will be too much focused for specific bricks elements instead of the way it is today that is global in the page.
I am not sure if you can export the bricks layout in the page but to investigate I need an admin access and probably FTP and we don’t do that in the free support for various reasons.

To my knowledge, layout is not a concept in Bricks, but I can export the page in question as a Bricks template, which results in the following JSON code:

    {"id":17,"name":"glossary","title":"Glossary","date":"2024-09-05 17:21:56","date_formatted":"September 5, 2024","author":{"name":"zilulaziwi8063","avatar":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/9ca7fa1323e679ff2075aaace07555b8?s=60&d=mm&r=g","url":"https:\/\/glossary.instawp.xyz"},"permalink":"https:\/\/glossary.instawp.xyz\/template\/glossary\/","thumbnail":null,"bundles":[],"tags":[],"type":"content","content":[{"id":"1160e1","name":"section","parent":0,"children":["26321c"],"settings":[]},{"id":"26321c","name":"container","parent":"1160e1","children":["83e1ec","f99db0"],"settings":[]},{"id":"83e1ec","name":"heading","parent":"26321c","children":[],"settings":{"text":"Bricks Page","tag":"h1"}},{"id":"f99db0","name":"text","parent":"26321c","children":[],"settings":{"text":"<p>Do you know the difference between a lion and a seagull?<\/p>"}}],"templateType":"content"}

I was able to replicate your issue with this JSON.
I am working on a fix.

I am deploy a new version with a better integration for Bricks that works on element level and not on the global page.

v2.2.29 looks good! Thank you for fixing this.
