• When I run the compatibility check on a test installation of a WordPress version 3.8 blog, I am notified that several Apache modules are “Not Detected.” When I contacted my host, “pair Networks,” it indicated the modules in question are installed on the server.

    email from pair Networks

    The Apache modules listed (mod_deflate, mod_env, mod_expires, mod_headers, mod_mime, mod_rewrite, and mod_setenvif) are installed on the server.

Why would the compatibility check fail to see the Apache modules? Before installing this plugin on my “real” WordPress site, what can I do to ensure proper operation?

I look forward to your help.
