Then I change theme and that is where I got that there is actually theme compatibility issue.
Sorry to jump in here ??
@adnanshah7272: The thing to understand is that… when two things do not work together, you cannot simply conclude that one or the other is the culprit with a simple test like this.
You can only come to such a conclusion when you know what the specific coding error is and whose code it is. Put another way, you can only come to a conclusion when you know what rule is being broken, and who is breaking the rule.
I installed generatepress on fresh website and its working with this plugin but not on my main website.
If the GeneratePress theme were the problem, how would the same theme work with the same plugin — without any issues — on another site as in this test?
This alone should tell you there’s something else at play here besides the GeneratePress theme and the plugin in question: because in this test you performed yourself the two work together without a problem.
Now, I’ll suggest you focus on looking for a solution to the problem, rather than who is to blame.
1) Fernando has already suggested you re-install the GeneratePress theme, just in case there’s some corruption. Have you done this already? What was the outcome?
2) If re-installing doesn’t help… kindly describe the exact problem you’re having. You only mentioned that the plugin “did not work on my website properly”. What exactly happens when you try to use the plugin? If there’s an error message, can you share it or post a screenshot? We need more information about the problem before we can help you.
3) If there’s no error message, kindly turn on debugging in WordPress. If there’s indeed a “compatibility issue”, you should see some error message on screen (or in your configured error rile) when you try to use the plugin and the problem occurs. Please report any error message you’re seeing so we can dig into this further for you.
4) Finally, Fernando has also suggested you contact the plugin’s developer (again). Whatever the cause of the problem, as long as their plugin is broken, it’s still their responsibility to track down exactly what 3rd-party code is causing their plugin to break.
Saying “compatibility issue with your theme” is not enough: what’s the evidence? What “specific compatibility issue”? What error message? What line of code in the theme is causing the problem? And did you mention to them that when you installed their plugin and the same theme on another site, there was no problem?
Standing by.
