    Hi Alex,

Thank you for writing to us!

Our plugin uses global site tracking method(“gtag.js”). So, the global site tracking code is there. While using our plugin no need to add universal analytics code from other plugin. Suggest you to remove universal analytics script from other plugin otherwise, it will create a discrepancy in your google analytics.

    Thanks & regards,

    Hi @tatvic,

Thank you for your quick response.

I understand that all tracking plugins will attempt to add their own gtag.js. However, GADWP has much more advanced configuration options for regular site analytics, so I would much rather prefer using that plugin for generating generic gtag.js and let your plugin handle the eCommerce side of things.

Besides, I thought that by unchecking “Add Global Site Tracking Code ‘gtag.js’ (Optional)” option, your plugin should have skipped those codes?

Or do I also need to uncheck “Add Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking Code”?

For now, I’ve unchecked that option too and added “Enhanced Ecommerce Plugin” option under Integration > Ecommerce > Ecommerce Tracking in GADWP settings and it seemed to have resolved the tag double up, but I am not sure if eCommerce tracking is working correctly..

    Regards,
    Alex

    Hi @tatvic,

    Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately due to issues with GADWP and your plugin, I ended up removing both and instead installed WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration, which provides enhanced WooCommerce analytics & basic standard tracking.

That seemed to have resolved all tracking issues.

    Thanks again,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Great, FYI, our plugin is providing the same, enhanced WooCommerce analytics & basic standard tracking (pageviews). But it’s your choice.

Hope the new one will fulfill your requirements.

    Thanks & Regards,
