Compatibility problems with Newspaper 8 theme

Hello,
first of all I want to thank you very much for creating such a great and easy to use WordPress plugin.

Unfortunately I have major problems, since I switched my theme to one of the most popular themes ever created, Newspaper.

Actually I can’t imagine, that your plugin is causing the problems on my site. But if I create a new article or page, with a table inserted, my background disappears and the tables don’t use the full page width.
