    Hello,

I would like to add Newsletter Glue to my existing WP site in order to send new posts as a MailChimp email going forward. Does the plugin require that I use the Gutenberg block editor in order to create posts?

My site’s pages were created using Elementor and the existing posts have all been created using the classic WP visual editor. If I were to install and use the Gutenberg editor to create posts going forward, would that impact the appearance of any of my existing posts and pages?

Finally – do you have any plans to support Elementor in the future?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hey @wn49!

    Thanks for your questions.

Does the plugin require that I use the Gutenberg block editor in order to create posts? → It can also work with the classic editor. But certain key features won’t work. For example, the show/hide content block. Our pro blocks won’t work either.

If I were to install and use the Gutenberg editor to create posts going forward, would that impact the appearance of any of my existing posts and pages? → If we’re just talking about upgrading from classic to Gutenberg, you shouldn’t see any issues. However, there’s a chance you might have custom code, theme or plugin conflicts that arise when you switch. It will depend on your set up.

do you have any plans to support Elementor in the future? → Yes! We’ll be exploring this in the middle of the year. I can’t promise for sure if we will be able to, but we definitely will look into it.
