Compatibility with Analitycs 4.0 (web + app)

  • When do you think the new version of the plugin designed for the new Analytics 4.0 approach will be released?

    In the meantime we can use this version with Analytics 4.0 or are you known problems?

  • I am surprised no-one else has asked this. Would love to know plans if you are going to be updating plugin or not to support GA4 or if I should set my new WooCommerce up with a different plugin?

    For now when you create a new analytics there is a hidden option to use Universal tracking

    so you can keep using both

    I couldn’t find any good solution yet to enable GA4 ecommerce tracking via GTM with custom coding it.

    Supporting GA4 ecommerce data layer is under development but please do not expect this to be released this year. I will do my best to have this in the core in January.

    In the meanwhile you could use the data layer converter of Simo Ahava:

    This is a custom variable template, you can use it in any GTM container for free
