Compatibility with backWPup – Session failure?

I had a conversation with Daniel Hüsken, author of the excellent backup plugin backWPup, about an error message in his plugin and I figured out that this error message doesn’t appear if I disable the GeoIP database functionality in your plugin. He tested it and figured out that the error comes because your plugin doesn’t seem to check if a session exist before it gets used. I’m not a developer, so in detail I can’t go into detail.

Would be great if you can fix this in a coming version so I can use again the GeoIP functionality.
