• Hi,

I’m currently using the TwentyFourteen theme and when I recently installed the BuddyPress plug-in, I realised that the latter is not fully supported by TwentyFourteen.

I like TwentyFourteen, and using the default WordPress theme also gives me peace of mind with regards to updates and tech support.

So my question is, are you planning to make the TwentyFifteen theme fully BuddyPress-compatible? I so, I won’t need to go on the hunt for a new theme.

    Thank you in advance!

  • @mclaudet BuddyPress is compatible with the Twenty Fourteen theme last time I checked. You’ll just need to tweak the style of the tabs and that’s it. What issues have you found specifically so we can help?

Checked theme compatibility of BuddyPress with Twenty Fifteen last week and again, only some CSS tweaks depending on your taste will be needed. Will get back to you when WP 4.1 is released and the Twenty Fifteen theme team completed with their changes.

Thank you. The tabs were indeed one of the problems. I wanted more visual difference between the different tab levels, so navigation is easier and the look and feel is more dynamic.

But the Group Activity page is a little off too. For example, the sentence “Publier une note dans group ABC, MclaudeT ?” is displayed on two lines that overlap on top of each other. Also, line spacing within the paragraphs and titles is very wide, and because of that, the distinction between the different elements of the text is unclear.

So I am basically hoping for the different elements of the page to be more visually defined, so it is easier to read and navigate, and also a little more engaging to watch.

So, from what I understand, I would be able to do these things if I tweaked the CSS code? If yes, I will certainly need some help, since I have no programming skills.

Would those tweaks stick through the different WordPress updates? Or would I have to rework the code each time I make an update? Thank you again.
