Compatibility with Chaplin theme

    I am developing a website where the plugin TEC does not work with the Chaplin theme installed.

    To check compatibility, I installed the Chaplin theme and the The Events Calendar plugin on a test website. This website is new: no settings or customizations here, just the latest version of WordPress, Chaplin and TEC. And I created two events to test:
    ?Test event 1? and ?Test event 2?.

    Neither the calendar nor the single events are shown.

    Instead, the index template with the archive is displayed.

    I’ve just solved this problem in the plugin settings: by changing the template from page to events ??
