  • Hi,

To troubleshoot the issue try this guideline:

To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor) and see if it helps. If it solves the issue, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Sixteen and see if it makes any difference.

From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Elementor > Settings > Experiments. Change all of the experiments to Inactive. Click Save Changes.

    Here are my findings…

    If I run version 3.6.5

If I activate NavMenu Addon For Elementor then edit in Elementor. I just get that spinning loading circle.

If I activate Elementor Addons & Templates – Sizzify Lite then the screens are not full screen. The top menu no longer displays Edit with Elementor option and seems to cause a critical error.

Currently these are disabled and I have used some substitutes. If you would like to take a look at this staging site I can activate and provide credentials.

    Hi,

Since the issues are caused when the plugins are activated and as we have no control over coding for third-party plugins, I highly recommend that you report this issue to the support team for these plugins so they may further troubleshoot and provide a solution.

If they need any technical details regarding Elementor, they are free to open an issue on our Github page where our developers will be happy to collaborate directly with them.

With that being said I have received “ Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue” email.

All these issues started when I went to 3.6.5 (I can’t even upgrade my live site! – the first time I did I had to ask the hosting company to restore a backup) and thus the staging site.

I don’t think you should just dismiss the issue. I will/have contacted the other plug-in authors.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Thanks for the updates.

Elementor displays all the widgets including default WP and third-party widgets. They are separated by section Headings in the widget area.

However, we can provide support only for those that we create, we are not aware of the third-party widgets code and functionality.

I’m sorry to hear that it doesn’t work, but this is for sure a good question for the plugin’s support team.
