Compatibility with Kinsta

    Hi

    I’m considering using you for
    Compression
    WebP creation & serving
    Retina serving

    My host is Kinsta & I use their CDN. I read you can integrate with other CDN’s with a bit of set up your end, please confirm if you are compatible with Kinsta’s CDN in this way and if there is any impact on performance

    Also I will need Optimole to be able to handle all of this for background/header images as well as regular images. My theme is built on Themify Parallax. Please confirm if there are any issues.

    I’m currently using Shortpixel which isn’t serving Background images currently, Themify support have suggested Optimole as an alternative.

    Also, with reference to the below, how can I be sure that Optimole really is serving WebP images? If you’re not changing the extension, how does the browser read the image if it things its jpg, and if Google doesn’t recognise it as a WebP images does that not mean I miss on the opportunity for better Google ranking?

    First there are no issues that we know of using Kinsta.
    We do process background images.
    With regards to WebP we don’t change the extension for the file requested but we do serve a different content for the request that is WebP.

    Since we have a free tier, I would suggest to just try it for yourself and see how it goes we will offer help along the way if you encounter any issues.
