Compatibility with Nextgen Gallery

  • Hi,

    I have installed the Moesia theme on one of our websites and am working with the Types plug-in. I think the plug-in is great!

    But I was also working with Nextgen Gallery for a long time allready, which I need for this website. But the problem is, when Types plug-in is activated, some functionallity of Nextgen Gallery is broken. I can no longer add a gallery to a page.
    When clicking the Nextgen button on the page edit screen, the lightbox opens, but the content doesn’t load. As soon as the Types-plugin is disabled, everything works fine, but problem is that I need both plug-ins.

    Can you check whether it is possible to fix these compatibility problems?

  • Had the same problem, not a great fix but for now you can get this working by tweaking –

    wp-content/plugins/types/plus/installer/res/js/admin.js

    Line: 21 change to:

    if( typeof pagenow != 'undefined' && pagenow == 'plugins'){

    Weird I just had to do it for another site and it worked again, although it didn’t until I cleared my cache so the change could take effect. Try that out and if not check the error again and see if the error code your browser spits out is taking your changes
