Compatibility with nextgen gallery

    I an testing your plugin on a staging website. It has found a large number of images that “Seem not in use” but i am not surprised by that. I use the nextgen galley plugin and was wondering if you have received any questions or support items with that plugin. I did look into the support items but have not found any items relating to nextgen but i may have missed something.

    I will tell your something a bit weird, but somehow logical ?? NextGen is quite an old plugin, not very well coded; people choosing it usually don’t really care of quality of the code of the plugins they use, and they would also never ever use plugins to actually make their WordPress cleaner. To be honest, I think it’s the reason why! I had many customers coming from NextGen (for my other plugins) and they had to re-create everything from scratch.

    That said, it’s fine to use it if you like the way NextGen works; they indeed try to overload (!) the plugin with all the features you need and don’t need.

    My users didn’t ask me to handle NextGen yet, but in reality, I don’t mind. If you are interested in it, you could give me a hand by just creating a few NextGen galleries for me, and I will make sure Media Cleaner works in all your use cases.
