    Hi,

The plugin does not use any deprecated PHP function, so, should not be occur any conflict, however, if you detect any issue, do not hesitate in contact me to solve it immediately.

    Best regards.

Many thanks for the quick response. I’ll let you know if there are any issues.

    Hello,

We just recently upgraded to PHP 7 and are experiencing intermittent issues with the Calculated Fields Form. We use it for some of our contract employees to submit data to us, and for some, it stopped working, while for others it still works. I am able to use it at my office, but when I go home, I get the same error:

“Error saving data! Please try again.

    Error debug information: ”

    Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

    Hello,

The issue you are describing is usually related with the character encoding of your database and not the version of PHP in your server (it is the reason why the submissions of some characters are failing and not others). Please, follow the steps below:

    1. go to the settings page of the plugin, through the menu option: “Settings/Calculated Fields Form”

    2. Select the “UTF-8mb4 (Only from MySQL 5.5)” option for the attribute: “Character encoding”

    3. and finally, press the “Update” button.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

Thank you for the quick response. I tried updating to UTF-8 (my options don’t include mb4 etc option). Everytime I click Update, it appears to revert back to “Keep current charset”. Any other thoughts? Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

The option always displays the option: “Keep currrent charset”, but the database charset is updated. If your copy of the plugin does not include the option for mb4, please, install the latest update.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

We purchased the $50 version of the plugin a couple of years ago – and I don’t see a way to update. Do we purchase the plugin again to upgrade?
