    Hello,

We had to rollback to PHP 7.3.27 because of performance issues with Woocommerce but we cannot use Google Listing and ads plugin due to PHP version.
Can you tell us if there is really any compatibility issue with PHP 7.3.27?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Please be advised, for your site to run properly, we recommend PHP 7.4 or greater:

    Hi Igor,

We have incredible performance issues like a burning CPU (we have to reboot the instance or server!) while running PHP 7.4.
We suspect a script which never close a DB connection or something like this.
We know 7.3 is old but we don’t have any solution for the moment.
If you have any hint… To help me to debug

    Thanks
    Best regards

    Hi there @bvedgie ??

Thanks for reaching back. This is odd; let’s figure out why things are not lining up!

Could you elaborate further, in order to provide some further context on this?

Actually, running PHP version 7.4 or greater is required.

In order to investigate things further, could you please share the site’s URL and a copy of its System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then click the Copy for support button.?You can either paste it in your response here, or use https://pastebin.com/ for pasting it there and sharing it with us.

Also, could you please navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and from the dropdown on the right side, please see if there are any logs starting with the words fatal-error.

If so, please select View and copy and paste them into your reply here.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
