Compatibility with Polylang

  • Hi,
    I have managed to setup a very nice gallery with Sunshine Photo Cart, but I didn’t manage to translate the page with Polylang, it generates a system error…
    Do you know if there is a way to have my gallery in two languages ?
    my pages in English are beginning with /en/ and should be for the shop : https://sm-art.fr/en/shop/

    And a few more questions, but less important :
    – Is it possible to select the photos from the Media library ?
    – How can I have a gallery without cropping the images (I tried to unselect the option in the parameters, but nothing changed in my gallery)
    – In each gallery, is it possible to change the photo size to have full text without carriage return to next line for the different products ?

    – is it possible to remove the word “pouce” under photo between the name of the photo and the gallery name in the Cart page ?

    No, images must be uploaded to the specific gallery.

    You need to change the crop setting and then upload. Image thumbnails are generated at the time images are uploaded. More here: https://www.sunshinephotocart.com/docs/thumbnails-not-cropping/

    I am not clear on this question, a link directly on your site where you are seeing this or screenshot will help me better understand.

    No. It is supposed to read “[name of image] in [gallery name]“. For you, “in” has been translated to “pouce”.

    – Would it be possible to change the translation of “In” from “pouce” which means Thumb by “dans” which is the correct translation ?

    Is there a way to make two different pages have the same galleries or point on the same one in only one language ?

    I have not formally tested Sunshine with any multiple language plugins. I know other users have set it up and I believe it was with WPML. You may have to do the option where the language is set as a URL variable (www.domain.com?lang=fr instead of https://www.domain.com/fr).
