    Hi,
it may sound as a silly question, but one thing I can’t understand is if the plugin can be used also to implement consent and acceptance into Woocommerce online shop, when users place an order (as visitors, by filling only shipping fields) or register themselves.

    Hi Christian,

You can create multiple types of consent on the consent settings page.

You can make it a required consent to use the site or some functionality in particular.

On your case it would be collecting information such as addresses for shipping products.

Remember that for cookies or consent to work, you need a developer to add our wrapping function to your functionality. The function checks if consent was given or not and if you need to block the user action or not.

    I hope that clarifies things.

Well maybe I’d better install it and test it, because it’s not very easy to understand how it works concretely. As I guess, I need to add the consent input into the checkout page code – for example – in order to check if it’s given or not before proceeding to register customer’s data.
    I’ll give it a try…

    Thanks.

I’d suggest doing it on the buy buttons and on the cart page.
