    We are using this plugin with WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin and with the ‘WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage’ feature enabled. We noticed that when the WooCommerce HPOS feature is enabled, subscription renewals orders don’t work correctly.

    For example, on a subscription renewal date, a new renewal order is created, but it is incorrectly treated as a new subscription with the on-hold status.

    Could you please confirm if this plugin is compatible with woocommerce subscriptions and HPOS featured enabled?

    Yes this plugin is compatible with HPOS. It is not the Braintree plugin that manages the creation of the renewal order nor the status of the subscription or renewal order.

    When WCS creates a subscription renewal, it’s supposed to pass the renewal order object to the Braintree plugin where the renewal payment can be processed. From there, the subscription status and renewal order status get updated via WooCommerce provided functions.

    Can you elaborate on this? What is treating the renewal order like it’s a subscription?

    I don’t see anything in your description of the issue that would point to this being caused by the Braintree plugin.
