I’ve not been able to find out whether this is compatible with Woocommerce Subscriptions? If not then why so as it’s one of the most popular Wooocommerce plugins?

    Hi @nextgaything ,
The answer depends. This functionality is requested per: https://github.com/krokedil/klarna-payments-for-woocommerce/issues/78

    1) What market would you be selling subscriptions? Klarna does not yet offer subscriptions in all Klarna Payments markets. Is your Klarna contract & API credentials already contracted for subscriptions?

    2) Do you have 0 value orders, e.g. free trial orders? as that is not yet supported by Klarna Payments

If you don’t have 0 value orders and your contract is approved by Klarna for subscriptions, then please proceed to test this functionality and let us know if you have any issues or further questions.

    Hi,

I do believe that Woocommerce Subscriptions can do this without Klarna’s support in a similar way they do with Paypal Standard or GoCardless when they don’t use their native options. We’re in the UK, though.

We do have $0 orders but they are renewal ones where the whole subscription period has been paid for already, so it doesn’t need to go through the payment gateway nor do I think it does.

Klarna Payments won’t allow subscriptions orders unless the Klarna API credentials are configured to accept these orders, and unfortunately Klarna Payments recurring is not yet available for UK.

    Resolved per above comment.
