Compatibility with WordPress 5.2 and Blocks?

    Greetings,

    When I try to paste the [client-portal] shortcode into a shortcode block in a page, the page will fail to publish. If I remove that shortcode, the page publishes. I’m running WordPress 5.2 on php 5.6.4.

  • Hello there Michael,

    I have experienced similar problems with other shortcodes. It looks like the new WordPress edit interface is still not working very well.

    But what I have noticed is that even though it says that it failed, if I close the window and then I return to edit that page, it shows that the shortcode is there.

    Can you check and see if you can reproduce this experience?
