Compatibility WordPress 5.3.2

Hi!

We have used the plugin for the website with great pleasure, thanks!
However, the website has been reset a while ago and now we’re using wordpress 5.3.2. Ever since, the plugin does not work anymore, and we are hesitant to update it as the update has only been tested up until wordpress 5.2.5.

The question: can we update the plugin and use it with wordpress 5.3.2 or might this cause problems? If so, are there any other options? We really need a plugin like this.
