I have set some add-ons and see them in the website shop but if I view POS they are not visible.

Are add-ons not possible with POS or is there something I am not understanding in the config?

Seems to be quite flakey. – Not resolved.

Yes having installed it, created some add-ons, viewed them on webshop ok and then updating to IOS 12.3.1 on ipad & iphone, the add-ons appear.

However, Firefox as a POS does not show them, Chrome does occasionally. The + near the Checkout button is also intermittent.

Editing the add-ons to change price or use different content then saving, results in the webshop displaying correctly. But POS on IOS displays the old values before the edit.

Remove the plugin and the POS display still displays add-ons.

Setting a product to draft results in the product still displayed in POS on IOS.

I do hope you are able to work these bugs out as the plugin could be very useful.

Thank you for the follow-up. You are reporting a couple different issues, here is feedback per issue you reported.

Browser and Device Compatibility – The Products Add-ons Plugin and POS Plugin has been tested and compatibility verified with Chrome, Firefox and Safari desktop browsers and on iOS devices Safari Mobile and Chrome Mobile and on Android Chrome Mobile.

Plus Button on Checkout on POS – The plus button on check out only shows after an order has been checked out. Prior to the order being checked out, the Plus button will not show, you can click on the product tiles to add products to the cart. Once the order is checked out, the order just processed is showing and the plus button is functionality to start a new order. You can also click on a new product tile to start a new order.

Making Changes to Products or Product Add-ons – The POS uses browser local storage to enable fast performance and loading for products and high volume stores. If you make any product or product add-on modifications in the WordPress Admin, next time you launch the POS Plugin, please click the Left Menu, Click Support. And perform a Force Sync of the Products section. This will perform a new sync for any changes you made in the admin. We are releasing a new feature soon to add the Force sync option in the main menu for easy syncing new changes.

Draft Products – Yes, you are correct, draft products are showing up in the POS view. We are working on more features for inventory management on the POS, in a future update we will start showing only Published products in the POS view.

A few recommendations on the browser compatibility, please verify you are using the latest browser versions. If all browsers are updated, please perform the plugin compatibility testing described here to identify any potential conflicts by having WooCommerce, POS and Product Add-ons the only plugins installed. Or potentially the Force Sync process described will resolve the products not showing as you described.

On the Product and Product Add-ons changes not showing, the force sync process should resolve any products not showing. And the draft products support will be included in a future update.

I hope this information was helpful to explain the behavior you experience using both the Product Add-on and POS plugins. Overall, we are always working to make improvements on features and functionality for both plugins, we hope the plugins become useful for your business needs. We will go ahead and close the issue, but please feel free to reopen if the information and instructions provided does not resolve the issues reported.

Thank you for your detailed response.

    Very much appreciated.

1 Week ago, my client wanted to review the site, before your response, I desperately tried to reinstall the plugin and start fresh in case I could clear the issues.

I even deleted the za tables in the db.

However, on reinstalling, the tables are not created and when viewing Dashboard-Products-Product Add-Ons – Add-Ons Tab, there is no plugin displayed and if I create a new Group that fails as there are no tables.

I have installed the plugin on another domain and copied the za tables to the original db and that still does not display the plugin on the tab or successfully create a Group.

    Please advise, thank you.

You will also need to remove the db entries in the wp_options table for the plugin-ins. In the wp_options table for the Product Add-ons all entries are zaddons_tables and for the Point of Sale all entries are pos_
