Compatible with shortcodes?

Shotcodes currently work only in BuddyPress compatible themes (like the standard BP theme shipped with BuddyPress). We’re currently working on being able to display the shortcodes in non-standard themes. We have a topic open regarding this with BuddyPress.org.
