When I use Image Meta option from plugin “WP Meta SEO” to enter the desired information the images then they disappear. So I cannot re-enter information about these images.

The Plugin Author from “WP Meta SEO” would like to know if the file structure
is not similar to the WordPress default media library on the server using
    “Media from FTP” plugin.

“Media from FTP” register media with media library by normal structure. It have not done anything special.
I tried “WP Meta SEO” but it did not matter. Is there any problem with other plugins and themes?

A.F.A.I.K. there are no problems with other plugins or themes. I will look into that more in-depth.

Why there are thumbs created in /wp-content/uploads/media-from-ftp-tmp
    and not in e.g. /wp-content/uploads/2017/03

“Media from FTP” creates ”media-from-ftp-tmp” in order to speed up the second and subsequent search speeds on the “Search & Register” screen.
This is independent and has nothing to do with MediaLibrary’s database.
    Also, this can be erased.

Media from FTP -> Settings -> Other -> Remove Thumbnails Cache

However, this is only created when using the “Search & Register” screen.
By using the “Media from FTP” schedule function, you can automatically register files by uploading by FTP without using “Search & Register” screen.

Media from FTP -> Register -> Schedule -> Apply Schedule
